4. The core

5. Shield

In order to prevent the magnetic field generated by some inductors from affecting the normal operation of other circuits and components, a metal shielding layer is added to inductors.When the inductor is shielded, the coil loss increases and the Q value decreases.

6. Packaging materials

Some inductors, after winding, use wrapping material to seal the coil, core, etc.The packaging materials are plastic or epoxy resin.
