The function and structure of I-shaped inductance| GETWELL

Custom inductor manufacturer tells you

The frame of the I-shaped inductance is supported by the winding bracket of the copper core coil. I-shaped inductance is one of the properties of electronic circuit or device, which refers to: when the current changes, the electromotive force produced by electromagnetic induction to resist current change, some large fixed inductors or adjustable inductors, the commonly used I-shaped inductance is regarded as the vertical version of the axial inductor, and the application is convenient similar to the axial inductor, but the commonly used I-shaped inductance can have a larger type of inductor. Naturally, the current can also be improved in some applications. Most of the enamelled wire is wound directly on the skeleton, and then the magnetic core or copper core, iron core and so on are loaded into the inner cavity of the skeleton to improve its inductance. The skeleton is usually made of plastic, Bakelite and ceramics, and can be made into different shapes according to actual needs. Small inductor coils generally do not use the skeleton, but directly wind the enamelled wire on the magnetic core.

the characteristics of I-shaped inductance:

1. Small vertical inductor takes up small installation space.

2. Small distributed capacitance and high self-resonance frequency.

3. Special guide needle structure, not easy to produce open circuit phenomenon.

4. Use PVC or UL heat shrinkable sleeve to protect.

5. Lead-free and environmentally friendly.

the characteristics of I-shaped inductance:

1. Inductance range: 1.0uH to 100000uH.

2. Rated current: due to the temperature rise shall not exceed 20oC.

3. Operating temperature range: between-20oC and 80oC.

4. Terminal strength: more than 2.5 kg.

the function of I-shaped inductance:

1. Store energy and filter in the power supply to make the display source more stable.

2. Oscillation, which forms an oscillating component in the switching circuit to boost the voltage.

3. anti-dry reactance, acting as a choke in the power supply and a differential mode inductor to prevent the harmonic components in the power supply from polluting the power grid, but also to prevent the harmonic components in the power grid from interfering with the power supply and play a stable role.

However, just like the ubiquity of such components, RF inductors have very specific uses. In resonant circuits, these elements are usually used in conjunction with capacitors to select specific frequencies (such as oscillating circuits, voltage-controlled oscillators, etc.).

RF inductors can also be used in impedance matching applications to achieve impedance balance of data transmission lines. This is necessary to ensure efficient data transfer between IC.

When used as a RF choke, the inductor is connected in series in the circuit and acts as a RF filter. To put it simply, the RF choke is a low-pass filter that attenuates higher frequencies while lower frequencies are unimpeded.

The above is the introduction of the function and structure of the I-shaped inductance.
